What Do We Do?

My Green Bookkeeper provides four main areas of business service: Bookkeeping (support the business), Reporting (feedback on the business), Training (develop the business people) and Payroll.

More adhoc or one off services includes payroll review, bookkeeping processes review, Xero conversions and training, and relieving work.

About Us

Managing Director:

Nicola Edie is a certified member of the New Zealand Bookkeepers Association, and a certified Payroll Leader via the NZPPA (New Zealand Payroll Practitioners Association). She is a Xero Certified Advisor and Partner, holding a Dip Acc and Graduate Diploma in Not For Profit Management.

She has spent over 20 years providing financial services – the first 10 years in front line accounts and 5 years for businesses as an Account Manager with multiple clients. In 2016 we launched My Green Bookkeeper and have slowly built a team and clientele to where it is today.

Nicola is a great fan of releasing talented people to go and do what they are good at, while the people at My Green Bookkeeper take care of the annoying and technical bits. She offers Xero expertise and paperless accounting practices – helping you to ‘go green’ in the office. Having a keen interest in how people tick, along with her warm and people-friendly approach can make all the difference to your business.

Director:

Colin has a Bachelor of Business studies, NZ Certificate in Engineering, and various health science qualifications as well as Occ H&S. He has had a long career in the RNZAF, largely as an aircraft maintenance engineer, and then in Force Health Protection. He instigated and helped grow the RNZAF Mentoring scheme along with a team of key personnel, which has since reached over 1,300 people. This involved a close relationship with the NZ Coaching & Mentoring Centre.

Colin is a Xero Certified advisor and a Payroll certified specialist (NZPPA). His business, entrepreneur and mentoring skills helps make My Green Bookkeeper a success.

Our Team:

We have a team of 14 with a diverse set of skills and strengths, making a powerful impact for our clients. Being a team means there is always someone to assist with your bookkeeping. From payroll experts, software specialists, not for profit expertise, and experience with businesses from start ups to well established ventures, we can add value to a vast array of client types.
